Functional and Dysfunctional Families
Fighting tears a family apart an it is something anyone outside the family may not know about. Fighting between sibling is hard on the family but the wosrt is the fighting of parents. Some couples feel that they may need to stay together just for the kids, so they don't have to move around. Sometimes the parents staying together is harder on the kids than fighting and this is just one element of dysfunctional families.
Families can be dysfunctional for many reasons. They may have their good days and that is what makes them a functional family. The days they aren't fighting and are all getting along is the element of a functional family.
Another Awesome Quote
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain."
~unknown
This quote stood out to me for so many reasons. It stood out because this summer with all the rain we had. My friend and I would dance int the rain all the time. It was one of those things you could just have fun and had no care. It brought back so many memories. One memorie was when we were at a Johny Holmes concert for the fair and we were outside. Toward the end of the concert it started pouring. We all just stood there and enjoyed the rain as we danced to the song "Rain is a good thing" by Luke Bryan.
This quote also stood out to me by the meaning behind it. It is pretty much saying we need to take advantage of what we have. It may not always be the best thing but you still need to make the best out of it. I think about this on a daily basis and try to live by this quote.
Social Networking
Another very popular thing on other than internet is social networking sites. These include Facebook, Myspace, and Bebo. I have a facebook, and Myspace. I don't ever use my Myspace, the main one I use is Facebook. I use facebook for many different things. I use it to keep in touch with my friends all over the country, but mainly all over Minnesota. I went to Washington, DC and met some pretty awesome people from all over the country.
I also use facebook to see what everyone from around my school is up to. I also see what my family is up to. So many people I know have a facebook. My mom, dad, grandma, cousins, and even the girl I nanny for has Facebook. It has sweeped the nation and the people that get keep getting younger and older.
